All of this in just ten minutes a day!

Virtual Project Manager is the only web-based project management system that was built specifically to meet the needs of city users, and our list of modules and features reflects our dedication to making this system as effective and efficient as possible.

Below is a list of some of the features that we offer. We're constantly developing new modules based on brainstorming sessions we conduct during our user group meetings, in which we invite our city users to be a part of the process. Check out the Events page for more details.

NEW! Automated Weekly Statements of Working Days

This new module works in conjunction with the Daily Inspector Logs feature to automatically create WSWD reports. Your inspectors can fill out their Daily Logs in just minutes a day and at the end of the week, VPM automatically generates a weekly statement of working days ready for submittal. The results: a huge timesaver for your inspectors and automatic archiving of these forms.

NEW! Voice-Activated Inspector Logs

Our Daily Inspector Logs module just made life even easier! Our Daily Logs used to take just a few minutes for inspectors to fill out from the field or the office. Now your inspectors can use the new speech-to-text version of this module on their smart phone or tablet for instant results!

Organized Document Managers

Create, manage, edit and approve your project's change orders, transmittals, submittals and RFIs with VPM's set of document modules. Along with better project organization and documentation comes the peace of mind of improved accountability. Relieve some of the stress knowing that any changes or issues that arise during the course of your project can be addressed and resolved in minutes instead of days.

Automatic Project Archiving

Virtual Project Manager offers unlimited cloud storage. Not only can you access your projects from anywhere, but VPM also automatically stores completed projects for the life of the account. The result is saved staff time and resources when it comes to project research and public records requests. You and your staff can locate, export and print complete sets of project documents with just a few clicks of the mouse!

In Development: Storm Water Pollution Prevention Module

This module is currently in development in conjunction with the city of San Diego. The new feature will automatically create storm water reports required by your regional water board.

Make the most of our technology with CIPLIST.com!

We developed CIPLIST.com in conjunction with the cities of Rancho Cucamonga and La Mesa in response to CA Assembly Bill AB-2036, which requires that cities provide project plans to contractors at no cost. In the spirit of good public policy we created CIPLIST.com to offer cities a web-based system that lets you post your project plans and details for free. Contractors can download the plans and bid the job – it's as easy as that! There is absolutely no cost to anyone involved, and the system is incredibly simple to use.
